I Prayed have prayed

Almost all prophetic words today shout one of these two headlines:   AMERICA IS PAST HOPE AND WILL BE DESTROYED! or  AMERICA IS FAVORED AND WILL NEVER BE DESTROYED!  Facebook oozes with voices claiming to be prophets or mouthpieces for God.  The internet teems with self-appointed prophets who scream to be heard, bombarding us with “prophetic words.”

Is there not a genuine word from the Lord in this hour?  What is God truly saying about America’s destruction?  All I can tell you is, I walk in the fear of the Lord and the constant remembrance that one day I will stand before God and give an account for every word I have spoken.  Yet, for all that reverential fear, my bones burn with a word for this hour.

My Spirit can’t hold it back from declaring to those false prophets:

To declare one’s private opinion, call it prophetic, and pronounce judgment on America is to play God.  Doomsday prophets sound a false retreat.  By making evangelism futile, they are helping put souls in hell.  They can also shatter the hopes and dreams of a young generation.

Don’t lie, and don’t make up prophecies of judgment just because you are mad at the church.  Face it!  Your righteous indignation may be nothing more than a personal grudge that your ministry was rejected by the church.

However, the great danger to America is not an abundance of prophets of doom.  It is the false prophets of grace and entitlement who are most dangerous.

In a wonderful book entitled The American Miracle written by Michael Medved, we see astounding and undeniable examples of God stepping in when America seemed beyond hope.  However, these examples are not proof that judgment won’t come.  To assume this is sheer madness.

I want to use George Washington as an example of something that desperately needs to be said to the American church.  Washington died because of medical malpractice.  Back then doctors believed in bleeding sick patients.  Washington was already weak from his sickness—by draining the blood out of a man weakened by pneumonia, the doctors made him weaker and finally killed him.  It was the worst thing they could have done.

Listen church!  Cheap grace is bleeding an already weakened church.   It helps set us up for national destruction.   From the point of view of Satan, this is the perfect theology.  Instead of a life-giving conviction and a robust will to fight—this perversion induces drowsiness and apathy.

Why do you think many of our pastors are closet alcoholics and addicted to porn?  And what kind of message can you expect a poisoned vessel to preach on Sunday morning?

Past miracles don’t guarantee future mercy.  They should awaken urgency, overpowering gratitude, humility, and profound soul searching.  Throwing ourselves off the cliff of morality to prove the power of Grace tempts God and provokes wrath.

God is trying to show us the times and what to do: 1 Chronicles 12:32 speaks “of the sons of Issachar who understood the times, to know what Israel ought to do.” The entire chapter lists the military talent of each tribe of Israel.  The gift of understanding the times was Issachar’s weapon.

I disagree with “prophets” who say America will be destroyed. I also disagree with those who say America cannot be destroyed. We are neither pardoned nor condemned.  Our fate has not yet been decided.

We are living in a moment of mercy: HOW SOON WE FORGET!  We were spared the horror of Hillary—the finishing touch of Obama’s death spiral—a permanently enslaving national debt—a Supreme Court chaining us to anti-God laws, freedom-killing environmentalism—open borders bringing perpetual Democratic control, crime, and terrorism.

Trump’s election was a miracle meant to ignite the church.  If the church fails to obey God, his time in Washington will be short, ineffective and we will end up worse off than ever.

Trump has had missteps as President.  This does not mean he was the wrong choice.  Would we dare abandon him so soon?   He needs our prayers.  He needs our support.

Here are the precise verses for this hour:  Ezra 9:8-9: “And now for a little while grace has been shown from the Lord our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and give us a measure of revival in our bondage.  For we were slaves. Yet our God did not forsake us in our bondage; but He extended mercy to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to revive us, to repair the house of our God, to rebuild its ruins, and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.”

Listen again to Ezra:

Ezra 9:13-14: “And after all that has come upon us for our evil deeds and for our great guilt, since You, our God, have punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and have given us such deliverance as this,  should we again break Your commandments, and join in marriage with the people committing these abominations? Would You not be angry with us until You had consumed us, so that there would be no remnant or survivor?

Wrath comes when you do not properly respond to mercy:  2 Chronicles 32:25: “But Hezekiah did not repay according to the favor shown him, for his heart was lifted up; therefore, wrath was looming over him and over Judah and Jerusalem.”

Look again at Ezra’s words: but He extended mercy to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to revive us, to repair the house of our God, to rebuild its ruins, and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.

Trump is a temporary reprieve.  Now we must do our part.  We must act on the mercy we have been shown.  He extended mercy so that we would do three things: Revive, Repair and Rebuild.

Revive: God commands us to seek a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  We dare not have church without it!  We dare not utter another word in the pulpit that denies it!  The word of the Lord for this hour is: cry out to God with heart of gratitude for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Here is the key promise if we do: 1 Samuel 10:6-7: Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man. And let it be, when these signs come to you, that you do as the occasion demands; for God is with you.

Repair:  Both the pulpit and our moral compass are broken.  They must be repaired!  Our wiring, plumbing and foundations are damaged.  Abortion and marriage are issues we lost because our leadership was broken.  We abandoned the Bible and did not arm ourselves or the congregation with convictions.

America needs Lions who roar from a righteous heart.  Away with secret sin and lukewarm grace.  Prayer will repair.  The voice that shakes hell and frees men and women from bondage is forged only in fervent prayer.  Satan does not respect your stage presence, education or tactics.  He knows a prayerless poser.  He only retreats before men and women who have been to Gethsemane.

Rebuild: We must come home to the Glorious Gospel.  We must dismantle all the silly things we have tried to say to this generation.  Forget about rebranding!  We need to rebuild our sermons from the ground up.  Let them be replete with Bible verses.  Let them talk of the mighty God.  Fill them with content the Holy Spirit can use to reach lost souls!  The Good News must once again roll off our tongue in the office, on campus and at the mall.

The consequences of cheapening God’s mercy are too terrible to imagine.  The opportunity this miracle has opened is too wonderful to ignore.

That is the word of the Lord for this hour!

Spot on Mario.
May we all be encouraged that God placed a man in the White House who will do His will. It’s is up to the church to recognize this miracle and realize that God is waiting to hear from us. It’s our country. Do we want God to move and change things for the better? Then the church must seek Him and put aside all obstacles that would hinder a deeper relationship with Him.
Dear Lord, wake up the church and bring our eyes to focus on you. I pull down all forces of darkness that would distract us from the ability to seek Your face. I come against all division and judgment that weakens the church. I pray for revival to break out and Your Spirit poured out on Your body. Let not the current chaos distract us from entering into Your presence which provides wisdom, discernment, direction, joy and comfort. Place a fire of desire in our hearts for You. To those who have not entered into His presence, God is waiting to hear your heartfelt prayers concerning our nation. Convince Him you care and we will see His mighty hand do wonderful things and restore our country.

It seems to me that we, Christians, need to be more on target to share the Word to our friends and those we see as we go about our daily life. I am speaking to myself as well.

In Matthew 24 Jesus says a bunch. And as He is the author of all prophecy, the chapter us like a diamond, multi faceted. Thus He says:

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.
Matthew 24:36

So, America is open ended, the final script not yet seen. Yet, the stage is being set for a One World Order (read Revelations for an update). Even those events none know except the Father. Like all prophecy, it unfolds in its season. The church who lives through the Great Tribulation will see a Glorious Day.

Since Jesus, our Bridegroom, is the head of the Body, His Bride, we must labor as long it is day, for a night is on the horizon, when no man can work. Lift up your eyes for the Fields are Ripe! The woman at the well got it!

How many have no experience of the MIGHTY Power of God? Without it, we are arrogant and disrespectful. We have no idea of the Immensity of the God we profess to serve, if we do not also fear Him and respect His great Holiness. We will one day stand before Him as Judge. Our corruption, pride, and sin of all kinds offend His Holiness and can not coexist with Him. Yet, we pray, “Your Kingdom come…Your will be done…on earth as it is in Heaven.” To dwell with us, He must wrench sin out of us and out of the earth. That means no more sin. No more disobedience, no more selfishness, showboating and putting anything above the perfect will of God and living in humble obedience to this Mighty God who loves us, and has made a way for us through all of this. In this time…our only hope is in Him. In falling at His feet in repentance and allowing Him to cover us and redeem us and make us new. The old must pass away.

Time to reread “The Cost of Discipleship.”

“When Christ calls a man, he bids him come and die.”
― Deitrich Bonhoeffer, The Cost of Discipleship

“Cheap grace is the grace we bestow on ourselves. Cheap grace is the preaching of forgiveness without requiring repentance, baptism without church discipline, Communion without confession…Cheap grace is grace without discipleship, grace without the cross, grace without Jesus Christ, living and incarnate.”
― Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Amen, Come Lord Jesus Come.

Good morning!

Yes and amen to it; adding here to the statement of many leader that saying all you need is accepta Jesuschrist as a savior and go keep being you or us done, you don’t need to do something more.

When all New Testament speak loud about holiness and those are purifier in the refiner hands are the one will inheritance heaven/paradise.

So it is a process after accept Jesus as a savior is where we start a new life of voluntary denial to flesh for leave in the abiding of the fruit of the Holy Spirit and leadership of Christ the Lord.

We most speak truth, it is sad how many are living in half true.

Awake and encounter your people Lord God.🙏🏽

Blessings!!

We also have to CHOOSE the fear of the LORD. OH GOD, HOLY SPIRIT, pour out upon us in mercy and send an outpouring of YOUR SPIRIT and bring REVIVAL, nothing that man can orchestrate!!!!!! Turn us back to our ancient paths, where our desire is to please YOU!!!

Yes and amen! Our news is filled with Godly and holy saints who are dying (like Tony Evans’ wife and Jack Van Impe) while at the same time we see worldly preachers being caught in adultery. Every time I read of a pastor who paid off his wife to keep quite about his affairs, I wonder how many more pastors are hiding secrets. My prayer is that good, righteous and undefiled pastors (like Tony Evans) will remain strong. The enemy is trying to take out the good pastors while leaving the false pastors in prominent positions. God, bless Tony Evans richly after the loss of Lois and bless Jack Van Impe’s wife after the death of Jack. Surround the good, holy, true pastors with Your loving arms and protect them. Jesus, convict all these young pastors who are more concerned with being liked on Facebook than they are with spending time with You. Lead them to the whole scripture and not just to single verses about grace. God, the younger generation of pastors seem to be leading people astray. They glorify themselves while not pointing people to the whole truth of You. Lord, protect the godly pastors from harm so they can get Your message out. At the same time, bring repentance and revival to the “grace” only preachers. Don’t let the false pastors lead anymore people astray. God, the message of “grace covers everything” is destroying marriages and homes and it is sending many people to hell. Please let pastors get their eyes off social media and get their eyes on YOU.

Jesus, thank You for this time of great mercy, which You have been graciously shown us over and over. Forgive us for every way in which we have tried to push You out of America. Most holy God, we repent and surrender anew to You, to Your ways.
We bow the knees of our hearts to You, and declare You and invite You to be the sovereign Lord over this nation,

After reading this clarifying word I am convicted. This word has separated the precious from the vile, concerning our tendencies to go from one extreme to the other. My heart is stirred greatly with encouragement. We must respond to our opportunity God has placed before us. As the church we cannot allow ourselves to remain in some false comfort zone. We must rise up and Pray, Proclaim and produce the fruit of repentance. I believe this is truly God’s perspective for our time in history. And this perspective must be ours as well.

God has set the sun in motion to stand still in this hour to fight this battle for souls. We need to be hearers and doers. We need to stand up with no offense and be the light to a very dark world. There are walls of water on both sides of us , it’s just we need to keep our eyes on the author and finisher of our faith and bring as many souls as we can with us . And He will see us on the other side . The promise land! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 for mercy ! It just takes a step of faith 🌄

Thank you for your reply, I will say a prayer for your husband. May our wonderful
heavenly Father continue to guide us all with His words in season to those whose hearts
have been broken by the cares of this life; also to those who yet may not know the joy of receiving the gift of His Son, Jesus, into their lives.
May we always be “at the ready” to share it with His love and joy to all.

Thank you Pastor Marillo for the courage to speak the truth.
I pray Father you raise up more like minded pastors like Mario Marillo. I pray your Holy Fire would fall upon your people. I pray you would raise up patriot warriors and midwives to pray and birth a Renaissance of righteousness in this land.

I agree Mr Marillo, Malachi 3:6 “For I am the Lord, I change not, therefore, ye sons of Jacob are not consumed”.
1 Peter 3:12, ” For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil”.
