I Prayed have prayed
Father God, give us all boldness to speak the things we have seen and heard in You (Acts 4:20).

Following the removal of books by a Catholic psychologist amid LGBT activist pressure, Amazon has removed the works of other authors who once lived and identified as gay.

Understand and pray about the new sexual identity culture in America with our comprehensive prayer resource: The Sexual Identity Crisis in America

The works of Anne Paulk of the Restored Hope Network and pastoral counselor and author Joe Dallas are among the latest books to be pulled from the online retail giant.

Dallas’ book — Desires in Conflict: Hope for Men Who Struggle with Sexual Identity — and Paulk’s book — Restoring Sexual Identity: Hope for Women Who Struggle with Same-Sex Attraction — both of which until the past few days were sold on the platform, are now no longer available for purchase.

“Amazon’s decision is no surprise since today’s culture is caving to the goals of the LGBTQ political movement, which have always included the silencing [of] any disapproval of homosexuality,” Dallas said in an email to The Christian Post Monday.

It would be awfully naive to think it will stop here. First, the LGBTQ movement will convince the culture that telling homosexuals they can change is dangerous. Then they’ll convince the culture that calling homosexuality a sin is dangerous. Then the government will tell the pastors of America what they can or cannot say on this subject, and the culture will approve.”

The author added that those whose books are being targeted and scrubbed from the website are presently considering how to best respond but their mission will remain the same.

“None of us will stop communicating the grace of God evidenced in our lives, and in the lives of those we serve,” Dallas said.

“Peter and John said it so well: ‘Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard,” he added, referencing Acts 4:20.

I quit buying from Amazon over a year ago when I found out they had blocked several excellent Christian Organizations from receiving money from their AmazonSmile Charity Program. These include Alliance Defending
Freedom, Family Research Council, Liberty Counsel and Focus on the Family. They still allow Judicial Watch to
receive donations.

I emailed Jeff Bezos about this and even got a response that he was checking into it. I guess he agreed to
the blockings….BUT GOD…

I now order lots of what I need from Walmart and Christianbook.com. I believe we should pray hard and fight
back, speak out, sign petitions, email, whatever…but ULTIMATELY…the BATTLE BELONGS TO THE LORD!

Sorry to read, but I looked up info on Book Depository, and it is listed as acquired by Amazon in 2011, started by a former employee earlier… so apparently is a part of Amazon currently.

Oh Father, teach us your ways.

triumphant to actually agree as “ONE” and be “ALL” JESUS gave for us to BE!

It would be interesting to know how many millions of dollars we Christians spend every week ordering Amazon’s products simply because their prices on most everything cannot be beaten. However, we are wondering if there is any way we Christians could boycott this morally corrupt giant company in order to be a part of the demise of it? We are not only praying but truly seeking a solution to this situation.

I’ve always bought my books from book depository.com because they do not charge for postage and l live in Asia.
Let’s patronize them instead of Amazon for books at least.

God brings everything to the light because He works in the light. Amazon is neither the universe nor the ruler of it!

Does anyone know who is it at Amazon that is making these decisions?

This shows our refusing to love God first because of what it would cost of our comfort; results in our having neither love or comfort! As said in mark 8:34-38

Let this be what it means
When I say, “I am a Christian”

I’m not shouting, “I’ve been saved!”
I’m whispering, “I get lost!
That’s why I chose this way”.

When I say, “I am a Christian”

I don’t speak with human pride
I’m confessing that I stumble –
Needing God to be my guide

When I say, “I am a Christian”

I’m not trying to be strong
I’m professing that I’m weak
And pray for strength to carry on.

When I say, “I am a Christian”

I’m not bragging of success
I’m admitting that I’ve failed
And cannot ever pay the debt.

When I say, “I am a Christian”

I don’t think I know it all
I submit to my confusion
Asking humbly to be taught.

When I say, “I am a Christian”

I’m not claiming to be perfect
My flaws are all too visible
But God believes I’m worth it.

When I say, “I am a Christian”

I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartache,
Which is why I seek His name.

When I say, “I am a Christian”

I do not wish to judge
I have no authority…
I only know I’m loved

May your kingdom come and your will be done in this decision by Amazon! May Amazon suffer the consequences because of it!

Let’s remember that Amazon is a company and is free to sell whatever books it desires and to not sell whatever books it desires.
I suggest two actions and two actions only-
1- Pray for Amazon owner and the people who work they that they would find Jesus!
2- Stop buying anything from Amazon.
Actually, I suggest a third action
3- Get rid of your judgments as they are interfering with your prayers.

For me, I will not deal with Amazon regardless if they are the only online source available.
They do not have integrity and often display anti-Christian behavior.

      Suseela-

Excellent, it proves we do not have to patronize Amazon.
I buy my books through Thriftbooks, most are used and cost under $5/each.

Let’s spread the word there are other sources than Amazon.

      God bless

You can contact Amazon on their Facebook page and let them know you do not approve of this censorship and will stop buying from them until they stop this kind of practice. I just wrote them. They more people they hear from the more likely they will change.

How very wrong is that – all in the name of political correctness. But as believers, we have to stand for what is right and true, not what is “popular.” May God forgive Amazon for removing these books, and bowing to LGBTQ movement. I will NOT purchase from Amazon again. They will not have my financial support, but I will pray for Amazon. God, please forgive our country! And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

If the courts uphold that President Trump’s twitter account is public because of his position in public office, then other people and companies allowing ideas to be presented Nationally in a National Public Forum, which Facebook and Amazon have grown to be, then they should be held to that standard–and freedom os speech applies. It is time to pray, ask God for help and wisdom in standing up for freedom of speech.

The LGBT gang would have far less power if Christians would read their bibles and vote their consciences rather than their pocketbooks. It is clear who is supporting the LGBT.
Lord, bring revival to America, and let repentance from all sexual immorality begin with the Your church.
