The lawyer for Christine Blasey Ford claimed that her client was partially motivated to speak up about her allegations against Brett Kavanaugh in the hopes his rulings from the bench on abortion could be tainted
Debra Katz, a vocal critic of President Donald Trump who represented Ford during Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing, made the remarks at the 11th annual Feminist Legal Theory Conference at a panel called “Applied Feminism and #MeToo.”
“In the aftermath of these hearings, I believe that Christine’s testimony brought about more good than the harm misogynist Republicans caused by allowing Kavanaugh on the court,” Katz said, according to a video of her remarks released Wednesday.
“He will always have an asterisk next to his name. When he takes a scalpel to Roe v. Wade, we will know who he is. We know his character, and we know what motivates him, and that is important,” she continued. “It is important that we know, and that is part of what motivated Christine.”
Ford told the Senate Judiciary Committee during Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing in 2018 that it was her “civic duty” to report her alleged encounter with Kavanaugh.Ford told the panel that Kavanaugh held her down on a bed and forcibly groped, and that she believed she would have been raped.
The now-Supreme Court Justice repeatedly denied Ford’s allegations, saying the encounters from decades ago never happened.
Despite the media attention around the case, Kavanaugh was confirmed to succeed former Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy by a 50 to 48 vote.

Is anyone surprised at the deceitful and ruthlessness of the left? They are so cocky that they admit
these horrible things (their lies and intentions) without fear of retribution.
Furthermore, is anyone appalled that antics from ones youth that were not illegal or
severely damaging could stand to be apart of a reputation today? Men of valor will run for office and have a past. The vote is for the character of the candidate today. Is there not forgiveness for one who spits on the sidewalk? If any of these allegations were true or not does not apply today for a man who has a good family and is a conservation family man with a wife and children who honor him. He is not running for King of the Prom. His school years were decades ago. It is who he is today that matters or we will never have another man or woman of honor who will want to run for office. Please pray there will be retribution for the left soon.
Our Heavenly Father I pray that you give us strength and protect us from evil that we face every day because of our morals and belief in you. I pray for America and our President Donald J Trump that you may protect him and his family. I pray that you bring vengeance to Christine Ford, her attorney and all those who supported her lies to hurt Justice Kavanaugh. I pray that you help us with our fight against abortions. We cannot go up against the evil Hollywood so we need your help. In the name of your Son our Messiah. Ameen

Lord we thank You for exposing the truth behind her lies. We pray that those who lie (though shall not bear false witness, though shall not murder) that they will one day repent and have faith in Christ Jesus alone. Should that not be Your will as You call Your elect, we pray their actions, words and deeds be turned against them. For our struggle is not against people, but the rulers, authorities and the power of darkness controlling them. We thank You for the truth, the truth that set Justice Kavanaugh free, and we pray for him as he rules from the bench of SCOTUS. Lord we pray for each judge, that they would consider first Your natural law when ruling on EVERY case before them this year. We pray for Justice Ginsburg, that she would have a time of repentance, calling out to You as she draws her final breaths and we thank You for the opportunity for President Trump to place another judge on the court.
As Chief Justice John Jay once said “Providence has given to our people the choice of THEIR rulers and it is the DUTY as well as the PRIVILEGE and interest of a Christian nation to select and prefer Christian’s for their rulers.” Please Lord, raise up men and women of faith in Christ Jesus to run and be selected for offices in every state, county, township and board in this nation. Amen

Lord as spirit filled believers, we bind the deceitful and hateful accusations deliberately imposed on Justice Kavanaugh to discredit him, by vehement pro abortion advocates and render it useless in Jesus name. Thank you for exposing the evil intentions of these accusers, and we pray their spiritual eyes will be opened to see the destruction of their actions. Amen.
