Kristen Day, executive director of Democrats for Life of America, has threatened to withdraw support from candidates who would exclude pro-life Democrats from the party.
“We’ve had enough,” Ms. Day told Catholic News Agency (CNA) this week following an encounter with presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg who said he would be willing to live without the support of pro-life voters in order to maintain his total support for abortion-on-demand.
As Breitbart News reported, Buttigieg told Ms. Day that there is no room for the pro-life position in the Democrat Party and that he would never support any restrictions on abortion.
“I am pro-choice, and I believe that a woman ought to be able to make that decision,” Buttigieg said in a Fox News town hall in Iowa when questioned by Day regarding the party’s diversity and inclusion of pro-life people.
In her interview with CNA, Day expressed her dismay over the Democrats’ utter subservience to the abortion industry, noting that pro-life Democrats are simply “fed up.”
These presidential candidates “are so afraid of the abortion lobby” that they will make no room for pro-life Democrats, she said, because “they’re afraid that they’re going to lose all their money and support.”
“I just wanted to know if he [Buttigieg] thought there was room for us in the party. And he doesn’t,” she said.
Ms. Day said that pro-life Democrats need to show more muscle when dealing with the party leadership.
“We need pro-life Democrats all over the country to go to these candidates and ask the question: Do you want pro-life Democrats in the party? Because if not, we won’t vote for you,” she said.
Day also told CNA that Democratic activists are very vocal about their support for abortion but do not faithfully represent the rank-and-file, which is more divided on the issue.
When it comes down to the details of abortion policy, many Democrats cannot be classified as “pro-abortion,” she said.
While many describe themselves as pro-choice, regarding legal abortion for all nine months of pregnancy or the removal of safety regulations of abortion clinics, “when it comes right down to it, most people agree with me,” Day said.
The party’s “abortion extremism,” she said, “is not going to be a good long-term strategy for them.”
Ms. Day had already condemned her party’s radical pro-abortion platform prior to the 2016 presidential elections, which saw pro-abortion Hillary Clinton defeated by Donald Trump.
Day said that some Democrats had phoned her to say they would not vote for Hillary Clinton because of her extreme pro-abortion stance.
“This platform’s language just says (to pro-lifers) you are no longer welcome,” Ms. Day said at the time. “This has been the general message pro-life Democrats are receiving across the country.”

It has bothered me for years how a person can call themselves Christian and follow the policies of the Democratic Party. The Word does not say it is okay to kill another human being. It says, “Thou shalt not kill”. It does not say there are many genders, there are only two, male and female. If it were not so , He would have said so. He says, “God created them both, male and female”, not male, female, and whatever you decide that you are ,or want to be. He says it is an abomination for a man to lie with a man, or a woman to exchange the natural use for which she was created and lie with a woman. This is all in Leviticus. A woman’s body is not her own, she was created by God, and It is only He who designed the earth we live in, the bodies we were given, our temple, where the spirit of the Lord dwells. The purpose of our mind, soul, and bodies is to obey the precepts of our God, and worship the creator who made us. Not say, “no one will tell me what to do with my body”. How can a person who calls themself a Christian say that, and not understand, who gave them the life that they have. Who paid the ultimate price for it with His own body, when He suffered and died on the cross for our sins. He who knew no sin , became sin, that we may become the righteousness of God in Him. The sins of the whole world were upon Him when He died. When He rose, He gave us another chance to live for Him, and daily repent of the sin that is in the world and in the hearts of those who believe all the Democratic party believes. Pray for them to see the light before it is too late.
I pray that all people who are against the killing of children in the womb would make that known by voting for the Republican Party, which values & protects the lives of the mothers & babies. As Christians we most vote on the core issues that align with the word of God; Life, Marriage & Sexuality. Unfortunately, the Democratic Party has no use for God in their platform.
Heavenly Father, I pray that we submit all parts of our lives to your Word and your Ways. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen Amen

We to were sinners saved by grace. When I was out there sinning, I wasn’t thinking I was a sinner! We know the darkness is darker and the Word of God says that it will be so, but what are we to do about it! This is the year of the (voice) letter L in Hebrew (pey) People all over are dying unnecessarily, and what can we do about it! Yes we pray and act. Kirsten is using her voice and praise the Lord for that, and all the power to her and Lord protect her and all those standing with her. In Exodus Ch. 14:15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “quit praying and get the people moving! Forward March! Exodus 19:19 As the trumpet blast grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and God thundered his reply. Gabriel the Arc angel is blowing the trumpet. Wow, are we all listening? The foundation is on the apostles and prophets and they are speaking. The Word of God is speaking. Katie Souza on her teaching Legion Slayer, Mark Ch.5 is such a good teaching. We need the keys that the Word has provided in these desperate times. God has a treasury in heaven of weapons, by Julie Meyer, snow, hail, ice and they are available to us. Michael the Arc angel has a sword and is our protector. The angels are waiting. Psalm 103:20. Bless the Lord, you mighty angels of His who carry out His orders, listening for each of His commands. No one who is on God’s side is a Democrat, or voted Democrat. That shipped sailed years ago. The end.

The Democratic Party has included abortion in their platform of unwavering principles for years now. Wake up, they’re not changing by the 2020 e tion. If anything, their position has become more barbarous.
Y’know the promise in GOD’s word that we reap what we sow? If these democrats are advocating the horrible, cruel death of unborn babies–just wondering how painful their own last days on earth will be.
Lord I pray for repentance bring conviction to Democrats help them to see. Remove any evil thoughts and let them know you Amen.
Come over to our side and we will welcome you with open arms! Republicans don’t accept you or reject you for what you believe. We all just have a common goal of preserving life as we know it on the US of A! We just think it important to preserve and protect life for EVERYONE, especially those who have no voice!

We pray that the eyes of those in both the Democratic and Republican parties who are pro-choice would be opened and they would no longer be deceived by the enemy. Lord God, we thank you for exposing what pro-choice really means. Lord God, please show the young men, young women, and families, thru your Word by the power of the Holy Spirit, what abortion really is and all the choices families have today. Let them see Life thru the Life and Eyes of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray for this in JESUS Name.

Gracious Father, we bless Kristen Day, and the courage she has displayed in standing up for the unborn, even in the face of radical opposition. She has called out the anti-Christ agenda in the Democratic party and drawn a very decisive line in the sand.
Lord, would you cause her to be a rallying point for others like her who, perhaps, have not found their voice yet, but know in their hearts that the culture of death that their party has embraced will bring about its own demise. God will not be mocked.
Raise up other voices, other leaders, men and women in the Democratic party – those who can see the handwriting on the wall – to come into agreement with Ms. Day and the truth she represents. Surround them with Your favor and protection. No weapon formed against them will stand.
The spirit of the fear of the Lord is moving. His hand of justice is already being revealed. Time is running out for the enemies of unborn. The blood of this nation’s 60,000 tiny martyrs is crying out for that justice. The Lord will prevail.
The time is now for those in the Democratic party to decide. God has set before them this day life or death, blessings or curses. Let them choose Life. In Jesus’ mighty Name.

We praise You, for You are a Holy God. We praise You, for You are Merciful and Loving God. We praise You for Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May all who are blinded, give them eyes to see that abortion is MURDER! Holy Spirit of God, intercede for us as we trust in You.
Thank You Father for our freedom of religion, prolife, and the right to be called children of God. Give us boldness to open our mouths and say NO, and strength to stand for what is right, and pleasing to You.

There is no place in the Democrat Party for a bible-believing Christian. I pray that the eyes of those who trust in Jesus will be opened to the realities of the Democrat Party.
Democrats have been the party of abortion for decades. One good example is Bill Clinton. Congress has passed a bill to curb abortion in United States and Bill Clinton vetoed it it not once but twice yet Christians continued to vote for him.
It is also the Democrat Party that is pushing all the transgender issues like Hormone therapy for children, sex transplants, bathrooms which is another great evil in our land. They are also the party that wants open borders and to eliminate ICE. Open borders will only increase the drug trafficking human trafficking and sex trafficking.
God we ask that the evil being done in darkness be brought to light.
And it’s the party that has no problem w same sex marriage.

The Democratic Party is no longer the party of compassionate humanitarianism. ( if it ever truly was) Power at any cost is the motivation behind their leaders. They bend and cater to the desires of those who stand in opposition to biblical truth. I pray more and more that eyes will be opened to the truth behind their political and social agenda.
I will continue for the rest of my days in the Earth, to intercede on behalf the Pro Life movement until we see PP gone forever!
