I Prayed have prayed
Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us. Bring your hope and your help to all those who are believing lies about their identities.

Many of us started our Bible Reading plans for 2020 with the book of Genesis. Highlighted in my Bible is Genesis 1:27:

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”

Every time I read that scripture, I’m reminded of this key fact:

The transgender battle in the United States is primarily an attack against God’s created order and his word.

Sure, it involves damaged psychology, political ideologies, immorality, and just plain sin. But let’s not lose sight of the origin of this problem. God created an order and a design – and man from Genesis 3 onward has been in a state of rebelling against that order.

We must keep this at the forefront of our mind, lest we get drug into superfluous reasonings. We do not need to look any further than Genesis 1:27 for an explanation of what is going on here. And as the church of Jesus Christ, we cannot be apologetic of this fact.

Here’s what we know about God’s word: it is truth. It will prevail.

So when we see new stories like the following, we find evidence of this reality:

First person to legally obtain ‘nonbinary’ gender status calls his sex changes fictitious

“The first person to obtain legal nonbinary gender designation on ID cards and U.S. documents has called the scheme a sham and recently changed his legal sex marker back to male to accurately reflect his biological sex.

James Shupe, who used to go by the name Jamie when he identified as female, successfully petitioned the same court that allowed him to obtain ‘nonbinary’ legal status to allow him to restore his sex marker on his birth certificate to ‘male,’ according to PJ Media. Documents exclusively given to the outlet show that Shupe’s petition described ‘non-binary’ — a gender identity that is said to mean neither male nor female or perhaps some of both — as a ‘psychologically harmful legal fiction.'”

We overcome darkness by shining light. His word is the lamp and the light.

So no matter how difficult the year 2020 gets for us as believers, we cannot shy away from speaking forth the word of God and his truth. That is our job. Plain and simple.

I believe we need to pray that the government makes transgender changes illegal again! This will stop the “gay” people from jamming it down everyone’s throats. The same with all the other vile sex acts.
No matter what surgery or hormone therapy they do — SEX CHANGE DOESN’T work. All it becomes is a very expensive “make-believe dress up!” (Over $100,000.)
The future prospective legal complications are massive night-mares!
Also, if the law forbids it or says you have a right to be what stupid thing you can think up– BUT you have NO RIGHT to jam it down everyone else’s throats.
Then we need to pray for the individuals — they have a bad case of devil!
We can also start to petition our politicians to get this law off the books.
And our churches still need to preach against these acts.

I am not good with writing, speaking, and praying words. All you who pray here, you are helping me to pray what I try so often to do. I stand in agreement with you. May God in Christ Jesus bless us.

Actually, they are not rebelling against GOD’s order–they likely don’t even know GOD’s order; they are rebelling against GOD. Who is at the root of this rebellion? Many of these poor souls have believed the devil’s lies; it is as simple as that! The sad truth is that they are horribly deceived. Scripture tells us, “If you see a brother in sin pray for him and GOD will give him light.” Intercessory prayer to Our gracious Heavenly Father is what we are called do do, but are we doing that? I attended a prayer meeting last week for prayers for World Peace; it was a very holy service, but the church was less than a quarter full!

Mari, the closest scripture I found was 1 John 5:16 NLV “You may see a Christian brother sinning in a way that does not lead to death. You should pray for him. God will give him life unless he has done that sin that leads to death. There is a sin that leads to death. There is no reason to pray for him if he has done that sin.”
There was 0 results for “give him light” per BibleGateway.com
In case anyone else was wondering.\

Thank you so much, Elaine, for the correction of my typo. Note to self: Double-check in future! Thanks again! God Bless you!

Elaine — You might use the story of Sodom and Gamorra (spelling?) where Abraham begged GOD to save the sinners. Even Lot’s wife that looked back was turned to a salt pillar.
GOD bless you for your prayer ministry.

Father, Your word is truth. We must never forget that! There is absolute truth despite assertions to the opposite. Please protect us from ourselves.

Father, deliver us from such fantasies as changing sex. I pray for those caught up in this, whether they are satisfied in this lie and need deliverance or those who have seen your truth. Pour out favor on those who have seen the light that they might minister to others and help them escape this fantasy life. Protect our children and give doctors and scientists courage to speak truth to this situation. Touch our hearts to conform to you rather than the world.
