I Prayed have prayed
Father, THANK YOU! I am grateful for these protections in these government departments for people of faith like me! I lift up these leaders and ask for protection and continued effectiveness.

Many of you may remember that a few weeks ago, the Trump Administration made an announcement of sweeping reforms to bring greater religious freedom to many of the departments in the government.  The “crown jewel” was a key rule in the Department of Education, upholding the Constitutional right to freedom of prayer and faith within our nation’s public and private schools. This protection was heralded as a “return to prayer in school” by many, who had seen a hostile and unfair denial of these rights for students and teachers in schools for decades.  Praise God for this change and the protection of first amendment rights for people of faith!  But, as we at IFA discussed the issue, these rights are only valuable if we as people of faith, use them.  We abdicated these rights in years past, not pushing back when little by little these freedoms were unlawfully removed in classrooms and hallways.  Let’s not make that mistake again.  Wherever we have been given freedom, let us use it! Download the rule from the White House and pray into itDeclaring Freedom to Pray in School—click here.

To that end, there are other great religious freedom rules recently made by eight other Government Departments that need your support. Once a rule has been proposed, a public comment period opens so that citizens have a way to share their concerns or approval of the rule.  In the past, many rules that protected religious freedom were heavily commented on by leftist activists.  It’s time for people of faith to take action and express approval of these new religious freedom protections.  We have included the links to the departments where current rules are posted for public comment (not all departments have posted yet). Take a few moments and comment on each one. (It is a government website, so it is not as user-friendly as you may be used tobe persistent.)

  1. In the upper right hand of the page, press “Comment Now.”
  2. Write your comment in the large blank space in the middle of the page (up to 5000 characters).
  3. If your comment is a document longer than 5000 characters or you want to include an attachment, type in the blank space, “I support the Department’s proposed regulations for the reasons given in the attached comment” and upload the longer document or any other attachment below the large blank space.
  4. Fill in your first and last name. Note that your name will appear on a public webpage.
  5. Do not check the boxes regarding contact information or a third party, but choose a category.
  6. Hit “continue” to go to the next page.
  7. Check the small box indicating that you “have read and understand the statement.”
  8. Hit “submit comment.”
  9. Thank you!

As other department comment periods are posted, we will alert you to make your comments. Please remember to pray for each department, that religious freedom would continue to be a priority and that Godly values would be extolled in all they do.  ‘Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’ (Deut4:6)

Religious freedom is not listed in the title but it is in the reading of the proposed rule.

The foundational purpose of our country was based solidly on religious freedom.

When I went to the government forms to leave a comment I was amazed at the total absence of any comments supporting these proposals and the large amount of comments stating that religious freedom does not belong in the governments proposals.

Jesus said, “My house will be a house of prayer”. Thank you for making not only the White House but the school house a house of prayer. The Lord encourages His people to pray as a way of seeking His face and having a close relationship with Him. May we never fail in this great command to “Pray without ceasing”.

Theocracy: Every government is predicated on precepts that reflect their world view, which by definition is a religious foundation::
Merriam-Webster: re·li·gion /rəˈlijən/ noun
1. a pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes supreme importance.
The USA government is predicated on Old Testament laws, tempered with the New Testament principles of Jesus! After Reagan’s term in office, their was a divergence from a Jesus centered Theocracy to a man centered official government approved religion called Humanism, followed by a further divaricating into the religion of Atheism, Socialism, homosexuaIism, with a segue into “gaia” mother earth worship, and even Mid Eastern religion. However Jesus being the foundation of our “Constitutional Republic” & even the “Federalist Papers,” we must return to our original theocracy, where the government/state is divided from the 1st Amendment power of the church [the real Thomas Jefferson of division of Church & State]. A return to a government centered in the creator of the universe, who is Jesus, the highest form of governing in the world [far above all others], which made America the number one economy on the earth, that is until the religion of Humanism eclipsed it, and we began the downward cycle of entropy, fast becoming 3rd world county. Now we have an apostle in the white house and a hope [a spiritual excitement and expectation of greatness again] of returning to Jesus as a nation.
Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other. From John Adams to Massachusetts Militia, 11 October 1798
The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God.1 John Adams

Thank you for this information! Some of the buttons did not take me to the correct department For instance, the button for Department of Justice took me to the Department of Homeland Security and the button for the Department of Education took me to the Department of Veterans Administration. I did comment on the ones I could though.
