I Prayed have prayed
Reading Time: 2 minutes

Father, we have sensed Your Spirit doing a work of cleansing and shaking throughout Your whole church. We pray these words of rebuke from Archbishop Viganò will be heeded, bringing the accountability needed to reform the Catholic church. We also lift up individual Catholics, many of whom are experiencing a crisis of faith. We pray, Lord, even as their faith in Catholicism is shaken, they will find the foundation of their faith, Jesus, can never be shaken.

May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.  (1 Thes 3:13)

Pope Francis declined Sunday to confirm or deny claims by the Vatican’s retired ambassador to the United States that he knew in 2013 about sexual misconduct accusations against the former archbishop of Washington, Theodore McCarrick, but rehabilitated him anyway. As the pope wrapped up a two-day visit to Ireland over the weekend, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò published a letter accusing senior Vatican officials of knowing as early as 2000 that McCarrick regularly invited seminarians into his bed. Francis said Viganò’s 11-page text “speaks for itself” and that he wouldn’t comment on it.

Viganò in his letter called out Vatican leaders for attempts at “subverting Catholic doctrine on homosexuality.” He butted heads with Francis during the pope’s 2015 visit to the United States, when he arranged a meeting with Kim Davis, a Kentucky county clerk who stirred up controversy by standing up for Biblical marriage. After news of the meeting leaked to the media, Francis insisted he did not meet privately with Davis and said through a spokesman that the meeting should not be construed as support of her position “in all of its particular and complex aspects.” (Excerpts from Lynde Langdon article in WORLD)

Lord I asking you to take control of these painfully hardships in our church. I please asking to help of the victims to forgive for all the pain is been causing during these year. Helping our church to survive at the same time helping Catholics to stay strong and pray rather that condemn. In Jesus name we pray.

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the precious name of Jesus asking for healing for all those who have been abused and hurt by the sin that’s been allowed in the Catholic Church or any other church that has not followed Your ways. Father, I come in repentance for the church asking You to cleanse the sins that have caused problems in the church. Father, we know there are women in the church who have had abortions, churches who marry same sex couples, couples within the church who live together outside of marriage, churches who have been racially selective in their membership, and even churches divided over water baptism & Holy Spirit baptism. Father, the church needs to be cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Thank You Jesus, for dying for all of our sins.
Father, Your Word (II Chronicles 7:14) tells us to humble ourselves and pray and seek Your face and turn from our wicked ways and You will hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and heal our land. Father, the church needs forgiveness & healing. Forgive us for not honoring You in the way we live. Wash Your bride and make us clean. Help us to be holy as You are holy. I asked these things in Jesus’ name. Amen

Father, I thank You that corruption and sin is being dealt with. I ask you to continue to reveal things hidden and bring into the Light. Open the eyes of understanding in the body to see and understand this is Your work and it is for their good though it may be hurtful now. Restore the souls of those affected by the sins of the leaders and bind up the brokenhearted. Thank you Lord. Amen

Father you cannot reform the Harlot, So I pray Jesus, that you find a place for the Christians to go when the Babylon falls, prepare a real church where there is no Master Pastor/Priest, but everyone has a song a word, a teaching: Rev 18:2-6
2 And he cried with a mighty voice, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and is become a habitation of demons, and a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean and hateful bird.
3 For by the wine of the wrath of her fornication all the nations are fallen; and the kings of the earth committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth waxed rich by the power of her wantonness.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come forth, my people, out of her, that ye have no fellowship with her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues:
5 for her sins have reached even unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
6 Render unto her even as she rendered, and double (unto her) the double according to her works: in the cup which she mingled, mingle unto her double.

Lord, have Your way. May a spirit of humility and repentance prevail. Continue to expose any wickedness, and break the spirit of institutional protection. Have mercy on the innocent, and bring healing and restoration. Thank You for Your lovingkindness, which is better than life.
