Father, I lift up Senator Michael Bennet. May he have the fear of the Lord and see you as Creator and Savior, the Sovereign God over the whole universe. Giv him a hunger and thirst for righteousness so he may see Jesus as the answer to all of life. May he seek your wisdom as he serves our nation.

Heavenly Father our legislators are in desperate need of Your help, Your wisdom, The Truth, and need rescue from the deception of the enemy.

Prayers that Representative Bennett will do things that honor God and respect life.

Praying for you, Senator Bennet, as you reside over Colorado and make important decisions that affect the entire state. I pray that you will be drawn to you knees before Almighty God, knowing you are ultimately accountable to Him, and I pray that He will guide you into all truth. I pray that any decision you make, you will make in accordance with the Truth of His Word and that you will recognize you are powerless on your own. I pray you have a heart change that causes you to make decisions that are for the betterment of mankind and that will be God honoring. I pray you recognize you are in the position you are "for such a time as this" and use it for good and not for your own personal gain. May you be a man of integrity and honor in all you say and do. May you recognize truth from lies and live in truth. May you be strong and effective for righteousness in your leadership role. May you turn your heart towards Him so that one day you will hear those longed for words, "Well, done, thou good and faithful servant." In the name of Jesus, our Lord, I pray. AMEN

I pray, in the name of Jesus, over Senator Michael Bennet: that he is convicted to accept Your Word, God, as his standard, to store up Your commands within him, to turn his ear to wisdom and apply his heart to understanding. I pray he is convicted to call out for insight, cry aloud for understanding, to apply the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God (Proverbs 2: 1-19). "Thus (he) will (be prepared to) walk in the ways of good men and keep to the paths of the righteous. For the upright will live in the land, and the blameless will remain in it; but the wicked will be cut off from the land and the unfaithful will be torn from it" (Proverbs 2: 21-22).
