We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for Senator Ben Cardin. We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into the heart/spirit of Senator Cardin. Enable him to see himself as You see him (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble himself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of his sins, transgressions and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone he has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25). If he does not know You as his Savior, we pray he would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Senator Cardin be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he serves the people of Maryland and fulfills his duties and responsibilities in the Senate. In Jesus name, Amen

Father God, Merciful and mighty. May your grace and mercy abound to this servant of the people of this state before the nation. In these confusing times grant wisdom, understanding, and judgement to this most special one who chose to serve rather than be served. Provide this most precious servant the wisdom of the men of Issachar, who had understanding of the times, and knew what the nation should do. In Jesus name. Amen.

Father, I bring Senator Cardin before Your throne of grace asking you to bless him and keep him safe and well. Lord, he has a compassionate heart for the support of our military and veterans and seeks to ensure the welfare of those who so selflessly serve and protect our nation. May he continue to be a voice for their welfare. Please open his eyes to see the true needs of our nation with regard to protection of our environment and the importance of our farmers in meeting our needs for food production and assistance of farmers who meet our basic needs. Give him an understanding that You have provided this nation with all the safe energy we need to stand independently and without the aid of foreign resources. Give him wisdom and discernment when working to ensure the safety of our borders, strengthening of our national security and overcoming the huge drug problems. May he have eyes to see and ears to see the truth in all areas of need facing this nation and may he understand the importance of maintaining our alliance with the nation of Israel. I pray that he will come to know Your heart Father. May Your Word be a lamp to his feet and a light to His path. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Lord God use Ben Cardin for your purposes in his own life, his family and his responsibilities to our country. Use him in a mighty way, and grant that he will always give all honor, glory and praise to you. Use him to turn our country around for you.

Heavenly Father, we Pray Senator Ben Cardin is convicted that he is created in Your image; woven together in the womb of his mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at this time in history. Lord God, we pray he be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and to demand of himself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray he is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Mr. Cardin sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May he be convicted that America was discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven (Rev. 14:6). We pray that he is convicted that he must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God" (Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen
