Father, I lift up Representative Betty McCollum. May she have the fear of the Lord and see you as Creator and Savior, the Sovereign God over the whole universe. Give her a hunger and thirst for righteousness so she may see Jesus as the answer to all of life. May she seek your wisdom as she serves our nation.

Heavenly Father our legislators are in desperate need of Your help, Your wisdom, The Truth, and need rescue from the deception of the enemy.

Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Betty McCollum has taken deep root. We pray she has been convicted to see herself as You see her, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at a time such as this (Esther). We pray that Representative McCollum is convicted of John 3:16, that "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "...The fear of the Lord - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding," (Job 28:28). We pray she be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that she is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as she represents Minnesota in the United States Senate. In Jesus name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, You spoke through your servant James when you said: "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." We ask that you would move on Betty McCollum's heart to seek Your Wisdom. not the wisdom of the world.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Representative McCollum. We lift her up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that she be surrounded by spirit-filled Christians who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into her life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Representative McCollum to receive revelation of Your truth and values into her spirit. We pray that Betty Mc Collum is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5).
