171,000 Illegal Aliens Caught at the Border in March

Border agents apprehended a stunning 171,000 illegal aliens crossing the border unlawfully last month alone, as immigration officials struggle under a seemingly endless wave of illegal migration spurred by President Joe Biden’s open-border policies.
The March total marks the highest single-month apprehension total since 2006, and dwarfs the roughly 36,000 illegal aliens who were apprehended in March of last year under President Donald Trump.
Including the March totals, CBP data indicates roughly 570,000 illegal aliens have been apprehended in FY2021, which began Oct 1 – far more than the 458,000 caught in all of FY2020.
